BC Seniors Advocate: Lessons for Ontario

Join us on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 7:30pm as we host Dan Levitt, British Columbia Seniors Advocate. Mr. Levitt last joined Concerned Friends on Long Term Care Awareness Day in 2022 as part of an esteemed panel who discussed Envisioning the Future of Long-Term Care. One of the greatest outcomes of that webinar was the diverse perspectives, models and best practices that were shared.

long-term care education series, free registration, online event

Inspired by a mutual interest in seniors advocacy, Concerned Friends is excited to launch our next installment of the LTC Education Webinar Series with BC’s new Seniors Advocate. The Office of the Seniors Advocate is an independent office of the BC government acting in the interest of seniors and their caregivers. We are excited to have Mr. Levitt back to talk about his role, the work his office is doing to highlight and address systemic needs and issues for seniors, and the knowledge he can share with us in Ontario as we work to improve the lives of seniors here.
