Models of Care in Ontario Long-Term Care Homes
Featuring guest speaker: Aria Wills
Join us as we explore collaborative models of care in Ontario’s long-term care homes. We will talk about the evolution of existing models, share best practices, and engage in conversations aimed at envisioning the future of quality care provision in long-term care settings across the province.
Aria Wills is a health services Research Coordinator, currently supporting research in end-of-life and palliative care with the Isenberg Lab at the Bruyere Research Institute. Aria’s research interests have focused on improving the quality of life and care for marginalized populations across care settings. Her passion for advocacy and reforming long-term care emerged when supporting research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on LTC homes, and the opportunities it presented for examining our current model of care. She joined Concerned Friends in 2020 to further lend her support to this cause, and remains a valued member of the Outreach Committee.
